When Style Magazine listed some of it’s top picks for women’s winter boots in StyleFile this December, I wanted to take a closer look at their favorites. Here’s an in-depth look at a couple of the boots they adored and the reasons I love them, too.

Sorel Sorelli

These mid-length pull-ons are a smart choice for every day wear when weather permits. Both fashionable and functional these womens Sorel Sorelli winter pull on boots will take you effortlessly from the snow to the streets. I love the way the Sorel Sorelli pull-on boot slides easily on and off with gusseted instep with elastic hook closures, warms your feet considerably with felt-lined leather upper and protects superbly with embossed waterproof leather upper and vulcanized rubber shell lined with wool. It is also noteworthy that these boots are made by Sorelli, an authority in winter wear. top blogs for women

Why We Love Them At-A-Glance

  • Snug fit
  • Simple pull on design
  • Warm and waterproof leather upper
  • Responsible warmth in recycled felt lining

Ralph Lauren Collection Fargo

With a pattern and feel that is reminiscent of the classic lumberjack, these boots are sure to be a favorite this winter. These boots are eerily like the Burberry Weatherboots with classic Burberry pattern and logo with the exception of the fabric. The fabric is one of the things I love about these boots. The allover red and black plaid design is super cute with nods to the flannel shirts and bold designs that have been so popular this season. Designed by Ralph Lauren and part of the Ralph Lauren Collection, these womens winter boots are a fashion maven’s delight.

Why We Love Them At-A-Glance

  • Eye-catching lace-up closure
  • Fun fabric upper
  • Bold pattern and color

This winter we’re seeing bold patterns right along-side black and brown leathers in eye-catching colors on everything from booties to thigh-highs. Some of the season’s best looks were made by companies that specialize in winter wear like Sorelli, while others were created by fashion legends like Ralph Lauren. The list compiled by Style Magazine in their blog also included boots by CO-OP, Marni, Mou and EMU.
